Straight answers on fees, ranks, GigZA Cash, referrals, and how payment holds work.
Platform fees are taken from the hustler’s payout when a gig is completed, not added on top for the client. The client pays the posted gig price; GigZA retains a share when the payment is captured.
New hustlers get 3 completed gigs at no platform fee. After that the Standard tier applies. Keep a strong streak and rating to unlock Pro and Elite reduced fees.

Commission tiers control your platform fee rate. They are separate from ID verification (Bronze / Silver / Verified).

Those are verification trust levels from ID checks. They help clients choose who to hire. They do not change your platform fee. Fee ranks are Promo, Standard, Pro, and Elite.
GigZA Cash is wallet credit that offsets platform fees only. It cannot be withdrawn as cash or paid out to your bank.
Invite a friend with your referral code. When they finish their first gig, you earn R75 GigZA Cash. On your next paid gigs, that balance reduces the fee GigZA collects, so you keep more of the gig price.
Share your code from Profile → Refer friends. Your friend signs up with that code. When they complete their first gig, R75 GigZA Cash is added to your wallet automatically.
There is no cash withdrawal for referral rewards. They exist to cover your platform fees on future gigs.
When a client hires, the gig amount is held on their card (or via Instant EFT when TradeSafe is enabled). You are not charged until both client and hustler mark the gig complete.
After both confirm, the hold is captured: the hustler is paid to their linked bank account, and GigZA retains any platform fee (minus GigZA Cash if applicable).
Cancellations more than 2 hours before the scheduled start release the hold without charge. Closer than that, report a problem so the team can review.
After both sides mark the gig complete and the payment captures successfully, funds settle to the hustler’s linked bank account through our payment partner. Link your bank under Profile → Payout account before you apply.
Yes. Pro and Elite require a 4.8+ average rating plus the streak targets above. A weak rating keeps you on the Standard tier even if you have completed many gigs.
